Summary:
Symposium 2 is the last of the series of four meetings on ESG topics funded by the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF). The goal of the symposium is to access and apply ESG intelligence for making sound investment decisions.
In the first session, Prof Cheng demonstrated how to use the ESG data on this website. And then a series of panel discussions with marketing and investment professionals explained how they address their real-life issues in their workplaces have provided reliable and concrete information for other people to acquire and consider the applications of the same practice.
In the second session, it started with Ms Vivi Hu's introduction on climate-related products and services, Catastrophe bond (CAT) and the Climate Risk Model. After that, accounting professionals illustrated the development of disclosure requirements with the impact of these requirements. Lastly, Prof Cheng concludes the opportunities and challenges in consulting for ESG/climate change.

Outline:
In this symposium, we will demonstrate how to use the ESGi-Composite Scorecard to generate intelligence to support decision making for investment analysis and other business functions. The symposium should be valuable to various ESG stakeholders from investment, accounting, corporate communications, ESG consulting, NGOs, government bodies and IT sectors. Participants are welcome to join either session or both and the light lunch.
Due to the limited capacity of the venue, registration will be processed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration may be closed earlier if maximum capacity is reached.
**A Certificate of Attainment will be granted for each of the sessions. Only participants who physically attend the session will receive a certificate. Accreditation of CPD points/hours is subject to the final decision of respective organisations.
